ATI Model 1911 and Magazines

Hi:
Was at Rural King and a really tough looking fellow said if I didn't purchase a ATI Model 1911 .45acp He would beat me up (this is my story to Penny).
I took the pistol with one magazine plus two new Pro Mag and two new Meg Gar magazine to the range. Using Winchester White Box 230gr FMJ ammo I did some defense shooting at 21 feet. Weapon and magazines worked 100%. Some real shooters with high dollar Model 1911 came over as my grouping was on par with theirs. After they remarked that my shooting was great, they asked to see my Model 1911. After doing a double take on the manufacture, they left with an attitude with noses in the area.
I am pleased with my purchase and hopefully Penny will not take it for her own.

Gotta say I had almost the same experience.
I was on the 100 yard lane on my range session before last and was ringing steel about one out of every 2 shots with my ATI.
Guy came 5 stations over from the 40 yard lanes, and asked what I was shooting. Told him ATI 1911, he nodded, turned, and walked away??? Made my way down to 30 yard pistol range little later on, and walked by the same guy. He had a Wilson Combat and wasn't looking to happy.
Surprisingly, the Pro Mags work for my 1911.
I can testify to that.

Doncha just love that BS? Just love the dark looks I get when shooting tight groups with an "off-brand" gun.
