Sounds like any AR15 with a 22LR conversion upper ...

Looks like it... If you're looking for a conversion type, check out the CMMG dedicated .22.

Not sure about the lower, however, a friend of mine has the upper, bought it to build his own .22lr AR-15, put it on a Mega Arms lower.....the upper seems pretty nice...all together it makes for a heavier (closer to a .223 AR-15) gun than that of the M&P 15-22.....had to do a little bit of shaving on a few areas of the lower parts kit to get the gun to fit together properly....been to the range 3 or 4 times with him and the gun now....shoots well, took about 100 rounds to get humming, but it is almost as much fun to shoot as my 15-22....and almost as accurate....but not quite.....just like the 15-22 the upper does is picky about ammo.....he found that Federal Auto Match bulk is the best....also, the mag that come with the upper is junk, the spring sticks about every 5 shots....any standard style AR-15 mag that holds .22lr will work, he got a different one and it seems to work fine....

Just another AR15 lower you can buy anywhere. "Multi-caliber?!" ;) Other than the cartridges can be no longer than a 5.56mm round any lower is "multi-caliber," it all depends on what upper you put on it.

Walk away from hype like this, they're selling to those with no knowledge of this rifle system.

And it has zip to do with the M&P15-22. ;)
