I have seen standard Ar-15's with 2 mags connected and which are off-set so you can switch from one to the other. Does anyone make these for ar15-22 mags?

When I first tightened the coupler it compressed the (factory 25-rd)mags and the follower would not pass the coupler. When I loosened it up, the mags started sliding. After a bit of tightening/loosening I found the "sweet spot"...the follower isn't fouled and the mags are stable. No problems now.

OK. I'll bite. Anybody want to describe the process? I can't imagine how you get one to work. Do you just put the two springs back-to-back???

I don't own one, but it appears it just couples the magazines together side-by-side. You still have to release and remove the spent magazine and then slide the next one in.

That is correct. Or you could do what we did in Korea, and use a folded piece of thick cardboard between two mags and secure it with duct tape. Works like a charm. :D

The Pro-Mag couplers work great. But make sure you test them at different tightness levels. The polymers that were used to make the 15-22 mags are either not of the same durability or the rim fire design of the 15-22 mags cause the springs to bind if the are over tightened. Test different set ups to see what work best for you. Try the couplers closer to the bottom of the mag but still with the ability to have them offset as to not interrupt the ejection of the spent casing. That has been most effective with me.
