Nope, I'm still here. But it seems like I spend more time in the lounge than anywhere else. My overall seriousness level is really low. Prices being asked on guns in the sale forum are mostly absurd, (IMHO) so not much is of interest there. I do like the cc forum, there's a few there that are fun. Anybody else?

Giz; Don't worry about us old farts getting around anymore. I turn 81 in June & still hunt & fish & gold pan. Not as much as when I was younger but enjoy it just the same. The Forum is my way of staying in touch with my friends here & enjoying the back & forth banter. Hell,100 years from now you will never know the difference.

I don't post a whole lot for the number of years I've been here. Seems like if you wait long enough, you'll see the same topic come up, over and over...and you let the newer, younger folks sort that out.

For us up here in the Great White North, well, heck, we're just coming out of hibernation, and there's a lot more other stuff to do now, like actual shooting instead of talking about shooting!

Still around. Rolled past 71 last March and am still buying the pre war through 60's S&W (and a few antique's), the ones I couldn't afford in the 50's and 60's. And, still shooting them.

I'm right there with you, Len. Been here for 12 years and only 200 posts. I get on the forum every day and have found that many questions I May have will usually be answered without even having to ask if one just reads and pays attention. I hope I have finally learned later in life that one can learn more with ears open and mouth shut. I do love this forum. There is a wealth of knowledge here and some of the most helpful and honorable folks to be found anywhere.

I do remember the 50's and 60's and began my LE career in the early 70's where I first became involved with S&W revolvers. Since then it has been a lifelong addiction.

I'm enjoying being an old dude......

Well I was born in '50 and remember the 50's, 60's and 70's, some of the 80's, more of the 90's, but I ain't paid a lot of attention to the 2000's. I post very few questions because I don't have any problems with my guns. If I think about buying something new or used, this is the first place I look for opinions that I trust. I try to be funny as much as possible in an effort to keep my sense of humor which isn't easy sometimes. I live way out in the sticks and don't get around much. I have about 3 or 4 good friends that I still get together with now and then, so the folks on here are kinda like somebody to hang with from time to time. I love my revolvers, but then I love just about anything that fires bullets. Always been a shooter. Loved my M-16 that Uncle Sam let me borrow from 70 to 72.
I hope that the older generation of forum members continue to share their knowledge and wisdom with all of us regardless of age or IQ.
I had to learn what a CTG was on my own though. I finally got me one of those babies. It stands for Colt's Tiniest Gun I think, maybe? Hell I don't know. All I know is that the letters, CTG, strike the same fear in my heart as does IED, LSD, LAW, and several others to numerous to mention. Oh yeah, DUI too.

After reading through this I'm feeling young (turning 66 this year) but stilll enjoy shooting sports, my grandkids and most of all, retirement!

We had to put our min schnauzer down at 14 yrs old last year, just about killed me, like loseing your own kid. The vet was talking about how older people get really attached to their pets, I had to look around to see if there were any old people there. I might have lived 66 years on this old earth but I still don't feel old. My body don't believe it sometime but my mind is still in it's prime. It's a good thing I retired though cause it takes a lot longer to get things done, due to how the earth rotates faster than it used to.
