You are off on the date the .25 was introduced? The FN version came out in 1906, the Colt within a year or two of that. I think 1908, without looking it up. The .32 was the 1903 model. The .380 was a 1908 appearance, too.
Dr. Roy Chapman Andrews used Audley holsters for his Colt .38's. There are very sharp photos of him wearing that rig in his Mongolian expeditions. I think the gun was an Army Special. Never been able to confirm. It could be an Official Police on his trips made in 1926 and later. The OP is basically just a re-named AS with different sight width.
Andrews just referred to it/them as Colt .38 revolvers. He was a serious shooter and hunter, and the Audley holsters must have been well regarded, or he wouldn't have used them. If you can find his books, they are WELL worth reading. He died in 1960. BTW, he used a Colt .32 auto as a concealment gun.
