I'd like to have easy access to my snubby when driving and was thinking of an ankle holster. I thought of wearing a cross-draw holster but wondered if anybody has other ideas.
Thanks.

I usually wear a shoulder holster if traveling in a vehicle for lengthy periods. Of course, you need a garment to avoid anyone seeing the rig. Not a problem in the winter; I use a very light UA windshirt in the summer.

Be safe.

I carry in a crossdraw holster anyways which gives me decent access while driving but it could be better.

I have a vertical shoulder holster from uncle mike that I wear when driving with my 1911 in it with a spare mag on the other side

There are holsters made specifically for auto use. They clip on the seatbelt, or on your belt and hold the pistol in a horizontal position with the butt toward your strong hand. The link below is for a Ross driving holster.
