Took Dino to school this morning and forgot it was toy show and tell. Checked his stroller, all I had in it was an old 4X scope off my Marlin 39....I pulled it out and handed it to the teacher...she asked what is it....I told her it was a telescope.....she looked through it and asked why it had crosshairs...I told her so you would know where the center is...she said, oh, okay...I then handed it to one of Dino's buddies to play with. Baby steps....

I agree 100%. While Dino will undoubtedly learn at a normal rate or better, you really do need to go slowly with some of those Left Coast "teachers."

Than for show&tell I bought in my pet turtle. After that she couldn't get me to shut up.
