The last message in my inbox is dated 2014, so I guess it's been a while. :). Haven't sold any of my S&Ws. Still have a bunch of 'em. I recently acquired one of the new 629 mountain guns.

My middle son has taken a big interest in firearms and recently S&Ws. He now has a model 28-2 that I sold him several years ago (the only one that I sold). He's also purchased a 586, 686, and has a 14-1 on order. His interest has rekindled my own. He's been asking me about my collection.

Moved from Nebraska to KC about 4 years ago. I now have two grandkids. Not quite old enough to retire, but I'm getting close.

I paid the $30 dues, but I guess it takes a while to kick in? Still seeing ads.

Thank you. My son has joined the forum, but I don't think he's posted, yet. He purchased a set of grips from a forum member.

I'm more of a collector and he's more of a shooter. He's gone through a ton of ammo at the range over the past few months. :)

Sounds like me when I moved. Welcome back. Hey, the 2026 Symposium is in Springfield Mo. You should join the collectors association and attend with your son. Great time, lots of great S&Ws.

I am the aforementioned forum lurking son blackdeuce referenced above.

If there are details on the event, I'd gladly take some. I have spent a large amount of time in Springfield and something like that would be plenty reason to go back. Certainly would not mind drinking some beers off the downtown square and seeing some old friends while I'm there.

Just got my new Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson, 5th Edition. I haven't seen my old book since we moved 4 years ago. I'm sure it's in a box somewhere. :)
