This is my Smith and Wesson Model 19-3 that was rusted and pitted from years of poor storage,I got it from My Son who got it from a retired Police Officer so we sent it out to be buffed out and reblued,I had to buy a sideplate for it because the Logo was polished out the pitting was so bad.Now it looks like new and just has a minor problem inside and hopefully it wont take long to fix.

What is the issue mechanically? There is a wealth of knowledge here that can help if you have any questions. Congrats and thank you for sharing.

I really like the Model 19-3...yours turned out nice. I like the stocks, too. One of my favorite revolvers is my Texas Ranger Commemorative (1973) Model 19-3 with smooth presentation stocks, narrowed trigger guard, and excellent fit and finish.
