Back in the fold

A couple months ago a friend called telling me he wound up with a Springfield M1a, knew I wanted one and wanted to work out a trade that included my stainless CZ75B. Along with my CZ the 6" pre-lock 686 went with it. I really loved that 686 till somebody let me shoot a 4" 586. Right away I prefered the shorter barrel. Last weekend I solved the problem picking up this 4" -8. Looked new and the fired case that came with it was dated 8/13. Yes, I would have liked to have found a pre-lock, but this came along at a good price and I'm more shooter than collector.
