Backpage?

Anyone use backpage to sell guns or ammo? My friend uses it with success. It is similar to Craig's List from what I can tell.

Try Armslist or GunBroker. Be careful on Armslist though....lots of scammers. A guy sent me a counterfeit check for an AR I was selling.

Have him sell it/them (IAW all necessary rules so you don't get into hot water, of course) and pay your buddy a broker's fee?

I've done a number of transactions through Backpage and have never had a problem. But I keep my BS detector on high and use what little common sense I have in deciding if I want to pursue a deal. I'm also careful regarding where to meet. The parking lot of the local PD is always a good choice. You get both honest folk and scammers on Backpage. You have to figure out which are which.

The last deal I did on Backpage, it turned out the other party was a retired LEO.

That's what was reported here locally too. Some hookers think they are getting smarter than the LEOs--NOT.
