Backstrap-covering Wood Grips for L-Frame

I have a 686 Plus .357 magnum with combat grips that leave the backstrap exposed. I like the look and love the finger grooves but I think the exposed backstrap is costing me grip. Every time I fire .357, the gun slips in my hand, forcing me to reset my grip. I don't have that problem with .38 special. I'm confident in my grip strength and I got some shooting gloves for the range, and I know this isn't a gun meant for rapid firing, but it's a bit unnerving to have my firearm slipping in my hand.
