Backstrap interchangeability

Recently picked up a M&P45 1.0 from a guy who had issues with the recoil. It came with almost everything that comes in the kit. Missing were the extra backstraps. I'd like to try a smaller backstrap for a better grip and have been looking for them but getting conflicting info on which will fit the .45. Does anybody know with certainty if the 9mm or 40 backstraps will fit the 45? I don't think they will and a couple of suppliers have told me that but I've also been told by the majority of supplier that they will fit. What say you?

I found a M&P 9mm-40S&W--357Sig Hogue Handall grip sleeve at the LGS on the 50% of table. It fits really well and it was made for all 3.
