Loaned my son a mod.625 several years ago. Sent him money to send it back to me two weeks ago, so he takes it to a local shop in Plano Tx to have them ship it to my gunsmith last week. To date no gun seems they haven’t shipped it yet waiting for pick up by UPS Seems to me they would have made an attempt to take it to UPS or call for pick up. Mister Gun is a poor excuse for a shop that advertises online delivery. Anyone out there had any dealings with them?

I've done business with them multiple times with never a problem but those were only direct buys, no shipping or receiving involved. Maybe you should call them and ask if your 625 has been shipped, tell them it was dropped off a week ago.

I can tell you this though, that place is busy as busy can be.

Here's my bad service story. Date was 11/12/2013 and I was buying a 2011 Honda Pilot lease return. Deal was made and appointment was set for 11am next day. I mentioned time was important.

I showed up promptly with cashiers check in hand, had the tags transferred from my trade to new ride - just waiting for finance man to close the deal's paperwork. Gets to be 11:30 still waiting, 11:45 I start making faces at fg outside his window, 12 pm I talk to guy who was there when I got there and he says all he needs to do is drop off a check and this is his day off he is wasting.

I'm done then - switch my tags back and tell my sales girl sorry, - her finance guy blew her sale. Called me before I got home and offered me $300 to come back but I told em to pound sand and that Sam Swope was rolling over in his grave. Buyer with cash in hand is lost while finance guy tries to qualify a buyer with 600 credit score is my guess.

These days, almost ALL service seems poor across the board. When I do encounter good service I let a supervisor/manager know about it.

Just went out usps that means another week if it even shows up.

Man you are just a bundle of optimism!
A one week delay for an FFL transfer on a gun they did not sell does not surprise me at all. It is called priorities.
I know it is not the good ol days service like we were used to 30-50 years ago, but the world has changed businesses have changed with it. For better or worse.
