I have a .40 shield that shot about twelve inches low and twelve inches left, several people fired this pistol with the same results. I returned the pistol to the factory and they sent it back and said nothing was wrong with it and no adjustments were required, but when I disassembled it they had roughly ground the front of barrel connecting link, and its better but now shoots eight inches low and left, and I think they have lowered the value of my pistol. Does anyone know where I can buy a new barrel for my gun. I like it but I can throw it more accurately than I can shoot it. The range is seven yards and I have no problem with my gold cup, and one of the other shooters is a very accomplished bullseye shooter, we all know a proper trigger press. Do you really think Smith is going to admit grinding the lug after sending me a letter saying no adjustment was needed?
