Just got this bad boy in the mail. SW N Frame, boot grip, black laminate, monogram custom engraving. They're going to be mounted on a 327 PC 2". I have yet to see this combination of grip/color on this gun. The gun is currently at the shop and won't be back for a couple more weeks. I'll post pics of grips installed as soon as I get the gun back.

Thanks, you helped me decide on new grips for my 629 Talo 3". I've been looking at the Badger grips for some time now but your picture is better than the one in their add. Much darker. I'm going with the 3 finger round butt. How long did it take to get delivered?

Awesome. I actually sent an email requesting for the darkest black laminate that they have. I'm not sure if that message was received or if I got lucky because I didn't get a reply back. Regardless it was the color I wanted. I've seen examples of the same color in both light and dark variations. 3 finger looks great too. It took exactly one week to arrive after ordering.

Thanks for the suggestion on the Badger grips. I got mine two days ago. Can't believe how nice they look. Got the black like yours but in the three finger round butt N frame. Beautiful. If I knew how to send a photo I would. Getting another set for my model 25-2 .45 Colt 2.75" hard chrome. It should look great. Thanks again.

Awesome! Glad to be of help. The pictures really don't do the grip justice. That black will look great w/ chrome. Still waiting to receive my 327PC, can't wait to put the grips on it.

Not trying to take anything away from this thread, but have to add some input.

#1 - I've owned a few pair and the fit and finish are fantastic, they are certainly lookers.

#2 - I would caution those who put these on stout recoiling revolvers to rethink, you'll see in the above photos that the finger groove "points" are very sharp, and can be a bit painful when shooting full mag loads. Probably has to do with how well they fit your individual shooting hand, but I didn't enjoy the sets I had for that reason.

Just an FYI, as I say they make fantastic looking grips, but for hard recoiling firearms they can be uncomfortable to shoot.

Appreciate the input. They do feel great in hand, hopefully they handle hot 357 loads well. I do plan to practice mostly with 38s. I have a set of Ahrends boot, fingerless grips on the way but I'm not expecting those until mid May. Customer service and delivery times are great with Badgers.

My 629 is polished so it looks even better with the grips.

I hear what you are saying. I took that into consideration. I won't be using full magnum loads in the 629 snub. Only .44 sp. since it's going to be a concealed carry gun. The .45 Colt model 25 doesn't gave much recoil to speak of. But thanks for the input. I'll know better if I decide to run some hot loads through them.
