Bagged a 617-1

After a couple decades of wanting a 617, never finding the right deal and accumulating other models instead, I finally filled that niche today. It's a dash-1 with book-matched factory combats in near-mint condition and I'm just tickled to get it, especially for no more than it cost.

The S&W Model 617 is one of my favorite 22LR
Pistols. I have a 2002 617-3 6”bbl my first and
1997 617-1 4”bbl second one. I enjoy shooting
both.

Very nice revolver.You will realize it was worth the wait.I recently picked up this 617 no dash and it is the most accurate handgun I ever owned.

Well, it's not quite a 648 but almost.....
I already had this 48-0 that had been sadly neglected by a previous owner to the point that it required a major cosmetic overhaul--including a hard chrome finish by Ron Mahovsky--to make it even somewhat presentable. It was truly a rescue that was labor of love.



You guys have some good looking rimfires!
