Well, my curiosity got the better of me and I Googled 'zerust bags'. And, lo and behold, it came up a real item.
It is a rust-prevention storage container, a bag, for ferrous metals, specifically pistols and rifles. It sounds as if it would do a good job protecting your firearms from any deterioration, but it takes away the fun and joy you get from taking your revolver out, fondling it, cleaning it, relubing it, and putting it away again. Plus, your weapon is not readily available if needed. I think I'll pass.

The prices aren't bad....
I was surprised they weren't expensive (hi tech). I think they would be good for storing anything susceptible to corrosion that you wont be using so often and in places where you don't want to store it in an oily rag.
PS I like the 'fur lined' rifle cases. A light coat of oil soaks in a little and is there when you put the rifle away. Since it's zipped up it's not messy.
PPS I'd still take a peek once in a while to make sure my stuff isn't being eat up.

yes i to had to google the bags since i did not know what they were they look like they would work pretty good said only 5 years i think they would work longer than that i still got a bran new hk 91 barrel wrapped up in grease been there 30 years still looks good just checked it last month
