No really. The Church of England has a great idea. Due to the increase in stabbings in England they want 'pointed' kitchen knives banned. That makes a great deal of sense. Later they will need to ban 'rocks', 'tree limbs' and 'belts' and cars and trucks. Anyone have any more ideas of what can be used for a weapon? Oh yeah, how 'bout 'meat cleavers'? But they don't have any points do they? Airplanes?

Church leaders urge government to ban pointed kitchen knives

Will this impact my ability to buy Global knives? I only use Global knives in the kitchen. Everyone knows dull and non-pointed knives can be much more dangerous in the kitchen than a sharp and pointed knife.

Scissors! Pointy ended scissors are assault scissors! Only blunt ended scissors will be legal to possess by citizens, after a thorough background check, medical clearance, a permission slip from your parents, and a 3 month waiting period. :D

I've heard that prison inmates make deadly shanks out of toothbrushes. There's another thing to ban.

A while back, on an Alaskan trip.
They announced, we’re having a tour of the galley, bakery and food prep areas.
So we went.
In an area just around the head chefs office, we saw a number of metals boxes mounted to bulkheads.
Finally found an English speaker, not many of the food folks spoke English.
What are those boxes?
They were knife lock boxes.
The cooks-chefs had their own knives, when not being used they were locked in the box.

Work on banning them in their congregations then do a 150 year study on how that reduces stabbing violence in their congregations. People are the problems, not access to tools.

Samson claimed to have slain 1000 men with the jawbone of a donkey, so ……….

Once in a while I read a news report about a person beaten to death with a toilet seat, so ……….

I'm really worried about the number of toilet seats on the street. Especially after our local police department had all of their toilet seats stolen. They reported they had nothing to go on.

They’ll need to ban files also or else those miscreants will put that point right back on there.
I’m becoming convinced that the current form of madness we’re seeing is contagious.
