Barbara Bush Is In Failing Health

The former First Lady is in failing health, and has said she will not seek any further medical treatment, but will focus instead on comfort care.

At ninety-two years of age, she stated "I'm not sure God will recognize me; I have so many new body parts!" You can't help but admire that sort of outlook, I think.

Married to the same man since 1945! Seventy-three years...can you believe it?!?

She's one of four previous presidential wives I admire, the other three being Abigail Adams, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Jackie Kennedy.

I believe Mrs. Bush deserves our kindest thoughts and well wishes.

I wish her well on her journey, wherever it takes her.

A great lady.....

She was/is a good one. One that I think we are much better for having around. I'm not putting the 'eye' on George, but I expect that without Barbara, he won't have a lot of reason to stay around. Bless 'em both.
