The boys and I enjoyed the game although we were underwhelmed by the chromatically challenged unis.
They liked Elly's spikes.

We liked the almost old school look of the AL with the hat and sleeve logos.
Nat'l League looked too much like the stinking Marlins.
Game was background noise while I read a book.

Caught it while going through the channels, in the top of the 5th.
I enjoyed the pitchers, tossing "Heat" but was sorry that the "Fastest man", did not try to steal second base, when he got on first base.
I know that I am getting old when I don't know half of the players.
Maybe next year I will get to watch all of the game?

Skenes is a beast! I really hope the hillbilly prince keeps him and gets some bats to go with our starting rotation. Lotta good baseball last night.
