I sort of follow the SF Giants. I don't plant in front of the TV for any sports team, but I will watch the world series if they are playing.
I pay attention to their record and as long as it's better than the Dodgers, I talk @#&$ to a fellow retiree.

When I was a boy the old AAA Louisville Colonels were the top farm club of the Red Sox, but I was primarily a Brooklyn fan. Now I follow the Reds, the parent club of our AAA Louisville Bats; but I have soft spots for the Red Sox and the hapless Cubs as well.
Baseball has always been my favorite game. Watching the Little League World Series is one of my very favorite things to do.

Another old Cardinal fan here. When I was a kid in S. Mississippi the nearest major league city to the deep south was in St. Louis and most of their games were broadcast on my local radio station almost every night.

Grew up a Dodgers fan (west coast-too young for Brooklyn though my parents were original fans), though I was able to justify also liking the Mets since they were on the opposite coast lol. Had a great aunt that lived near Sandy Koufax for awhile in the LA area-thought that was pretty cool.

Grew up on Harry Caray and Jack Buck. Had to have a Ken Boyer glove when I was a kid. Have four Musial autographs in the den. Married a girl from St. Louis. Cardinal fan all the way.

Great ballpark and a not so great record for World Series wins. Yes I'm a Cubs fan. There is always next year as the saying goes.

I am a NY Yankee fan but in general I really pay little attention to pro sports these days. There is too much drugs, wife beating and other **** that are in my view in appropriate.

Been a Phillies phan all my life. Every couple years we visit Clearwater FL to catch some pre-season (and escape the cold weather.) I think
every team probably has one player that stands out with his work ethic, instinct and a quiet, humble demeanor - for the Phils, that would be Chase Utley.
Here's a shot that I took this year at a pre-season game (vs. Pirates):
My nephew is a former HS Baseball coach, played in college, and on a Legion Team with a bunch of future big leaguers, John Rocker, Russ Branyon, Mark Johnson.
He is a huge Braves fan (we all are, seldom miss a game on TV).
He posted this on Facebook earlier this week, a conversation with his five year old daughter:
"As I am telling Maddie how God wants us to love and be kind to everyone, she thoughtfully interjected, "Even the Phillies." Yes, Maddie, even the Phillies."

Braves fan here. If they are not playing I'M not watching.Disappointing last year leading the league most of the year and then get eliminated first thing in the playoffs.

I don't follow sports much, but I will usually lean toward the Reds, especially back in the days when Marge Schott was the owner. The more recent owners have not been as good for the team.

Same here but when I was a kid most of the games were day games. After I was around 4, I spend my days with my grandparents while my parents worked. My grandfather listened to all the Cards games on the radio and I spent many hours with him listening to Jack Buck and Harry Carey.
We lived in west TN about 100 miles east of Memphis and that who area was Cards territory. In fact it had only been a few years since the Cards were the only team west of the Mississippi river. Going to St. Louis was my idea of the ideal vacation at the time. They played in Sportsman Park at the time. St. Louis Cardinals have been a big part of my life.
How 'bout them Twins?
