Baxter Black passes

We get cattle magazines and in our Sep. issue the passing of a great large animal vet, cowboy poet and storyteller died on June 10 2022. It did not state his age but noted he was born before the end of WW 2. so I would guess he was close to 78. I have been to one of his shows and read his books and he could lift your spirits. He will be missed by folks my age that are around livestock. Jeff

Saw him at a county fair venue a few years back.
First saw him at West Fair in Copper Mtn Colorado in the late 80s, actually on Labor Day Weekend.
Didn't matter what the situation, he put a humorous spin on it.

I saw him twice at a community event featuring him. Sure put on a great show and quite clever poetry. He will be missed.

Baxter Black will be missed. He was one of a kind. I liked him.
