Greetings:
I just completed my first, non-FTF firearm trade with forum member Brian Sorcic. It was a genuine pleasure getting to know, and deal with a gentleman, and a man of his word. As part of the trade offer, Brian included several boxes of factory ammunition. At the time, neither of us knew how difficult it can be for civilians to ship ammo. Once Brian began finding out how difficult it could be, he promptly contacted me about this, and we started to discuss the issue. I liked Brian's calm, professional demeanor, and I suggested a couple of options to Brian to obviate his having to ship the ammo to me. I think Brian either sensed I really wanted the ammo, and/or, his personal sense of honor would not allow him to deviate, and at some inconvenience to himself, he ensured the ammo was shipped to me.
The ammo was safely delivered to my home today, about a week after I had received the firearm in trade. During that time, Brian provided regular emails to keep me updated on what was going on, and gave me the tracking number for the shipment as well If every transaction went like this, we wouldn't have any problems. His firearm was exactly as he described, his photos were accurate, and he fulfilled his end of the trade to the letter. I couldn't be more pleased with the transaction - even though I traded a S&W revolver for a, uh, bottom-feeder.
Thank you, Brian, for a great transaction.
Best regards,
Dave
