Today I was reading the thread of members first five screw revolver. Try as I might I was unable to post a reply. Also there was so much nice hardware I felt this might detract from the thread. Last month I was in my LGS admiring a very nice HE in Nickel with imitation ivory grips for around $650
As I was reaching for my CC to put a deposit Brian, the owner of the shop, hollered "find a place for this beater." As it passed by I saw the price, $150. Just about what I was going to leave for a deposit. Plans changed immediately and the beater came home with me. It was missing the barrel pin which was easily corrected and a little touch up blue helped hide 110 years of use. Some one had added a Marbles front sight but my ancient eyes still can't see it. All this gun will see are light loads and it does a very good job with them
