Traded two guns I no longer wanted for it. It was close by and used. Had some pretty good scratches on the side plate and cylinder. Finger nail stopping scratches. Worked on them for a time. Put new sights on, didn't like the fiber optic. Removed the lock and a nice par of stocks. Of course cleaned it up really good. It was a mess.

It looks like your project is coming along nicely! I was interested in those 3-inch 63s until I saw what a new one cost. I was a bit surprised. :D Your "work" looks like a real improvement. :)

Same here, decent used ones at, or above, the new cost as well.

Looks pretty good!

.250 front and the rear i,m still working on. Using a K frame rear sight cut to fit. I have a .160 on now, have to see how that works. I can go higher with the .196 I have if need be. Going to the range soon, so will see.

66f100, the grips?

They appear to me to be the Target "J" frame grips but they look just a little bit different, maybe a slight alteration, huh? The 3 inch barrel always is a favorite. All I see that you did was an improvement. Now go out and enjoy shooting it!
