...has anyone heard from them if parts are available yet for the 15-22? Extractor/plunger/spring, firing pin, operating spring, the usual spares in case of breakage or loss. Oh and a threaded barrel and barrel removal tool. (I want to keep the original as-is.)

When my 15-22 broke the extractor I called S&W and asked to buy the parts to make repairs to it. I was told that since the gun was so new that S&W wanted it back to make sure that it was fixed correctly. That was about 3 weeks ago. I don't know how long that return policy will remain in effect.

yeah, when i sent mine in, It took a bit longer to get it back because the Engineers wanted to look it over.

Yeah, I'm sure the most common comment there for awhile has been
