Belly Band Holsters

I have a Comfortac belly band holster I wear on occasion -- when it's not too hot.

I use a smart carry and it doesn't print even in board shorts. I will say that if you use a revolver you will need to modify a pocket holster to make an insert to prevent snagging the cylinder on draw. It appears you use autoloaders though and for those it has no issues whatsoever.

My brother uses a Philster Enigma and swears by it.

I've found belly or below the waistband holsters of this kind to be significantly more comfortable and concealable. Just realize there is always a tradeoff and the draw is not nearly as clean or fast from them in my experiences. Even so, they have a role when I don't want to wear a belt so I enjoy them.

A friend of mine in the late 80's always carried a j frame in a belly band. I tried it for a while too. We both wore them above the belt line under a shirt. It wasn't a quick draw rig by any means, but was fairly comfortable as long as it wasn't scorching hot out.
