If I heard right Fow News said Ben Laden had two guns in the room with him at the time of his death. One was a AK47 and the other was a Makarov pistol. If they came up for sale I wonder what they would bring? I bet a rich collector would pay a lot for those guns. Don

I think they should be given to the Navy Seal that killed the scumbag.

I think people can hear anything about the mission other than a good prayer. Most things being told are just unfounded rumors or coverup lies. It is doubtful the full truth will ever be told.

Let us rejoice in the fact that bin Laden is no longer a threat to the world, that no lives were lost in the mission and no matter what guns he had were not used by him during the mission.

One of the photos released by the Paki's of the house interior showed a dead guy, and under his shoulder was a lime green plastic squirt gun, or water pistol. I havn't heard an explaination as to why there were water pistols in the house,

I don't give an "s" what guns were there or not, or who else was there or not.

What I care about is our guys went in there and shot him, irrevocably, dead. :)

Adios and rot in hell, UBL.

I said in an earlier thread; I hope that AK-47 is currently mounted on the wall in the SEAL team 6 rec room (or whatever similar type room they have).

Those are common throw down guns with the SEALs since they are light and don't rust.

Don't underestimate anyone with a water pistol or squirt gun! I have seen these toys turned into weapons using battery acid and other forms of liquid horror.

Under the situation with OBL, I'll bet they weren't being used for their intended purpose.

Gee, I heard it was a pair of consecutively numbered and highly engraved High Points in a handsome molded plastic case embossed with a camel and palm tree.

Maybe the squirt guns were going to be used to remove water from the Mississippi and lower the threat of flooding along her banks. At least that is believable as the rest of the story. Maybe he just got back from celebrating the royal wedding?
Peace,
gordon

The squirt guns? They used 'em to get a shower every few months or so probably.

I particularly like the "irrevocably dead" and "rot in hell" parts. Couldn't have happened to a more deserving fellow... :)

If I was one of the (if not THEE) most hunted men in the world and I heard gunfire down stairs I surely believe that I would have picked up one, if not both, of the guns in my room (actually there are 5 in MY room, but that's not the point).

Does the D.C. version of events make sense to anyone???

I am not sure what you mean by "make sense" concerning anything coming from Washington, but I can't think there is even the slightest shadow of a doubt in the mind of anyone with a shred of common sense that the Navy boys went there to ice OBL/UBL - and they did their job. It would have been an absolute calamity to have taken him alive.

If you mean "the story" - well, some folks are a little more polished than others, and this is an obvious example of a little lack of polish. Not unexpected, but inconsequential. :)

If he had a shotgun, he could of entered some 3 gun competitions. But I suspect a "wild" round from one of the other competitors might have clipped him... ;)
