Berea Ohio Gun Show

I'd like to find one of those percussion half stock rifles made in Ohio. Wonder if they ever show up at the Ohio shows?

May go Sunday. Just got my SS check. Love spending gov't money on firearm related items. But then it's beans and raman noodles for the next couple weeks.

My dad and I are planning to attend early on Saturday.

Roger, I might be interested in the 1006, fixed sights or adjustable? Shoot me a PM on what you are looking to get for it.

Larry, sorry you won't be there, you will be missed. Hope you are back on your feet and mobile soon!!

Bob.

Report from Berea

Just wanted to chime in and give Larry a little update on the Berea show. My dad and I arrived a little later than usual, about 9:15am. I would describe the crowd as light to moderate, it was getting pretty crowded when we left about 11:00am.

While walking around, I kept my eye out for Roger J, never did catch up with him and the 1006. Stopped and chatted with Bob Z and Dan T for a bit, did not see anyone else from "The Bunch" or SWCA.

There seemed to be even more black rifles and polymer guns than usual. As always, I was on the prowl for 3" guns but did not see many. Bob Z had three or four superb examples, but not anything that I needed.

I didn't have any luck in finding any scare 3rd. gen mags either. I did come across a few sets of very nice factory K and N round combats, they were priced at $375 and $400 respectively. A little too much for me and I left them.

I did manage to buy an unopened bag of 100 pieces of Winchester unprimed brass for 218 Bee for the bargain price of $21. All in all, it was better than sitting in the house. Bob

My Berea report, got there about 11,VERY crowded, been a while since I've seen that many parking lot cars at the smaller cold weather show. Picked up 4 magazines. Since it's been a while for going to a show, everyone I knew was asking if I was OK. Normally they see me every show.

I may go tomorrow. Stopped at FFF on Bagley. Jam packed. Two to three deep at the gun counters. At least 10 people in line at both registers. Was trying to see if they had a S&W 1911 pro series. Don’t know if this was gun show overflow. I did get to check out a Daniel Defense with the “pistol” brace.
