Report from Berea
Just wanted to chime in and give Larry a little update on the Berea show. My dad and I arrived a little later than usual, about 9:15am. I would describe the crowd as light to moderate, it was getting pretty crowded when we left about 11:00am.
While walking around, I kept my eye out for Roger J, never did catch up with him and the 1006. Stopped and chatted with Bob Z and Dan T for a bit, did not see anyone else from "The Bunch" or SWCA.
There seemed to be even more black rifles and polymer guns than usual. As always, I was on the prowl for 3" guns but did not see many. Bob Z had three or four superb examples, but not anything that I needed.
I didn't have any luck in finding any scare 3rd. gen mags either. I did come across a few sets of very nice factory K and N round combats, they were priced at $375 and $400 respectively. A little too much for me and I left them.
I did manage to buy an unopened bag of 100 pieces of Winchester unprimed brass for 218 Bee for the bargain price of $21. All in all, it was better than sitting in the house. Bob
