Beretta 81

I couldn't resist any longer and I didn't want to get in on the bottom end of another Beretta deal, so I just pulled the trigger.
I saw today that Gander had a 'ship to store' option that would allow me to bypass an FFL fee. Condition is described as 'used surplus' so I called them. FWIW, he said they were not scratched or beat up, just used.
Anyone else get one from Gander?

I got my BB 81 from gander. Very good condition, doubt it was shot much. Grips a little scratched. excellent trigger. Had to drift the rear sight a bit to the right.

Your's looks great sir! I am tickled pink with mine - got it from AIM for $269 plus shipping in "select" condition. I should have a modified Beretta 84 magazine here in the next couple of weeks from a fellow forum member. My "modification" magazine works but I damaged the follower so LRHO is kaput ...

I got an Email from Beretta today saying they had Model 81 mags in stock, but the site shows them out of stock, did anyone else get that email?

I got it a little after 12:00 PM. I was doing some work I needed to finish and was finally able to get around to it around 4:15 PM, only to discover, like you, that they were out of stock.

I responded within an hour of receiving the e mail and they were " out of stock ".

Picked one up at my Gander which is closing for $169.00. Took it to the range today and it didn't like all of my reloads. It must have tighter tolerances than my colt 1903. Shot great and very accurate with what it would shoot.

Hopefully this is on-topic - Classic Arms has used B81 .32 mags for $35 + shipping/tax as of just a few minutes ago. Limited to two mags - I only ordered one since it's just a novelty toy anyway...

just ordered 2 extra mags from classic. Going to a show today there is always a guy who has the trade in special, if he has any of the 81BB I will be bring one home. Last show he said he had 11 and sold the in a hour.
