It is clean except for a teenie ding or two and the grip screws have either a patina or rust on them. The bases of the Beretta magazines are worn.
The decocker/safety works perfectly and I leave it in Condition 2, safety off, hammer down on the loaded chamber. Typical double action like my S&Ws, my favorite way to keep a TDA pistol ready to go. This Beretta is hidden in my living room and it will take a genius burglar to determine the drawer is actually a drawer.
Oh, yes, it's not a good picture, there is no step slide, it is smooth and has grooves.
