Beretta INOX 9mm

I didn't know another place to pose the question on the board, so putting it here.
A friends' son, new to pistol shooting just bought a Beretta INOX 9mm.
Does anyone know if the gun has a magazine safety that keeps the gun from firing when the mag is out of the gun?

Per Beretta's website, the Inox, can allow one rd to be chambered at a time should the magazine be lost or damaged. So in short, no there is no magazine disconnect.

I own one of those, great gun. No mag safety. MecGar makes seventeen round, flush fitting magazines for this series of pistols.
