Best .22 Pistol For My Dad?

I've been very pleased with my Bersa Firestorm .22.

Flawless with the high velocity stuff....velocitor, stinger, etc.

Bulk stuff not so much.

Just ordered one of these Phoenix Arms HP22's from the LGS for $125.00 should be here Monday. I've been seeing them for sale on the web under $140.00 just about everywhere and for that price you can almost afford to give it away if you don't like it! Reviews are good on it for the most part. Anyway, it's an option to look at.

BTW - it is available with both a 3" for CC and a 5" barrel for target shooting.

Ruger MK III, Browning Buckmark, S&W 17/18/63, Ruger single six. There are many others but these are my favorites.

How about a 3" M17. It's a joy to shoot, and is light and accurate.
I keep getting the itch to carry it, but always take something bigger.
Hey, it's eight shots, and it's a Smith! TACC1

I like the 4" 34-1

I also have a Walther p-22. It shoots well and you can put a suppressor on it.

I also like my 17,41,617,Single-Six,38-200 converted to .22, and High Standard Longhorn, and I have a .22 conversion kit for my 92FS.

The new Ruger SP101 in 22 is pretty sweet. 4 inch barrel with fiber optic front and adjustable rear sights. Right around $500.
