Post the best gun advice you've ever heard or been given, and the best advice on life. Since I'm starting this thread I will go first.

Gun advice: "Get it out of the safe. If you don't enjoy shooting it now, someone else will when you're gone."

Life advice: "Get busy living, or get busy dying" (from Shawshank Redemption)

When I was just out of college working my first job and broke
I ask a wealthy club member if he wanted to buy a gun I had.
He ask why I was selling and I said I was going to buy another gun.
He said find a way...credit card, borrow money etc, but never sell a gun.
He also later told me when you find a good gunsmith, leave a gun
with him when you pick up the one he just finished. Boy is that last
one true on benchrest rifles as they take at least a year to build.

Gun Advice: (From a former instructor, many years ago) - Always respect a gun for what it is - a weapon designed to kill. The moment you don't respect a gun for what it is, is the moment you (or someone else) gets hurt.

Life Advice: (From my father) - Never trust a skinny cook! :D
