Best IWB Holster with Kydex insert for Shield?

I would have recommended a holster by Tommy Theiss: Theisholsters.com | Products | Custom IWB Holsters

I carry my Shield and SD-s in them and wouldn't consider anything else. Now you've got me thing about buying one for my 642.

Get one for your 642, you'll love it, I love mine.

Hybrid IWB holsters for me are either Tommy Theis or White Hat. Both awesome with terrific reputations. I don't wear anything else.

I have the no tuck version from hiddenfx.com that I use for the M&P compacts and swap the shell to use it with my Glock 30s. The shape and wearing characteristics remind me of a hybrid flavor of holsters in the VM-2 category, but is adjustable for cant and ride height. I rarely need to tuck in my shirt so it works for me.

They also have a version if you need to tuck in your shirt. I ordered the tuck leather piece to go along with the holster so I can tuck in my shirt, but I found that I use the no tuck version more often.

N82 Tactical Pro. Comfortable, retention, great customer service, decent price.

I like Old Faithful holsters. You can buy a kit and make your own all the way up to a finished holster. Pick your poison. I think mine were $40 with the holes punched and the kydex preformed. Bare material kits are cheaper. The kydex is thicker than standard.
