Best Mag Pouches

I am looking for plastic paddle mag pouches for the M&P 45. What are your suggestions and opinions? So far I have found a paddle from Fobus here: Fobus Holster: SINGLE MAGAZINE PADDLE POUCH - S&W M&P 9mm/.40/.45 DBL STACK
For people that do have a Fobus holster, how do you adjust the retention? Kydex is also a possibility too if the price is right. Thanks in advance.

I had access to some 1" square 3M Dual-lock fasteners. They are self stick, I put one inside the pouch on the outbound side and one in the rear of the pouch and they provided the exact amount of tension needed. I found most of the double stack 45 pouches were made for the Glock 21 and were all too big for the M&P 45. I think you could get Dual-Locks at an autoparts place or bodyshop, they are used for holding headliners into cars.

If you want quality rather than the cheapest thing you can find, try Comp Tac or Blade Tec kydex mag holders, made specifically for the M&P .45.

MP mag pouch

I have Fobus single and double mag pouches. That is my match/range

pouches. I only use the paddle for carrying single mags in my truck.

Belt for range/matches. I have used them for years with no trouble.

You have to check out which will work with which cal MP. I use Glk

21 for MP 45 and Glk 36 for same if you want more of the mag sticking

up. To tighten them ,I put a velcro button inside the top of the pouch

mouth. This works well IMO. Good luck

Thanks guys for your suggestions. Being a broke college student I don't really have the money for a custom pouch like Comp-Tac, although I'm sure i would love it. I am ordering a fobus pouch and will try the velcro idea if i need to tighten them up.

go to a gunshow and flip through the baskets...
you will easily find a good concealment pouch.

it works but I had to sew another thing on there to make it fit like I wanted it too...
I wish I would have waited and went to the gunshow
