Hey all,
I have had my 15-22 for a few weeks and have sent a lot of shots down range. I do most of my shooting at an indoor range with a 25 yard back stop. I was hoping to get some suggestions for a red dot or reflex for under $50. I have looked at the PA stuff but honestly can't justify spending that much right now. A Sightmark Sure Shot Reflex? A Tasco Red Dot from wally world? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I can't say anything for a worthy red dot under $50. But for a scope this beats all SCP-150 - Leapers UTG Golden Image 4x32 Entry Level Riflescope Includes Rings Holds zero, clear pic blah blah, everything you could want in a fantastic scope for a rimfire. I recently bought a 3-9x32 for my 10/22 at a local shop because I'm inpatient. Paid $70 and compares nothing to the Leapers. sold it, cut my losses and bought another of these from ctd. Best $20 I ever spent. I know a scope wasn't what you were looking for but maybe this will give you some more options. You can always put a reflex mount on the scope. Hope this helps.

I have the Tasco Red Dot from wally world .. shot the **** out of the gun with it holds good accuracy, brother has one on his gun also (one he stole from me) and he has had the same luck with it also. I did paint mine all black looks better now at least.

$50?!?! Save up some money until you can buy a decent scope instead of getting a $50-$75 *** that you will not like in a week or two once you realize that all you bought was a toy designed for an airsoft toy.

I got a 40mm ncstar red dot that has a laser on it for 50 bucks works fine for the 15-22

I've got a TruGlo red/green dot with flip up covers at Dicks on sale for $49.99. Works just fine.

I have used the BSA RD30 from Walmart and I think they are the same as the Tasco they sell now. Work great. No problems. I have one of the SightMark holosights. It works very well indoors but the reticle fades out in direct sunlight.

Thanks for the responses. After reading a ton of information I have decided to spend a little extra and look at Primary Arms. I am thinking of the M3-Multi anyone have any bad experiences cause all I have heard is good.

I have a Sight Mark optical that sell right at 50.00, on sale last week at Fleet Farm for 30. I have sent many rounds down range with it on my 15-22, no problems. I really like this sight. Well worth looking into.

+1 for primary arms. I got the M4 style. It too has the multi reticle and uses a regular AA battery.

+2 for PA. Yep, M4, ask for short screws at time you buy and you can go high mount (1/3 co-witness on the 15-22) or you can pull the riser and use the short screws for low mount, uses AA bat, and has 2 MOA. :)

Cabela's has a BSA red-dot on sale for their 50th B-Day for only $20!

I was within a whisker of getting it, mostly to see if I want a scope on the 15-22,
but they, luckily, let it be know it attaches to a dovetail.

The only weapon I own with one, a Marlin 795, has a BSA 3x9 scope on it, and
it is dialed in nicely, thanks very much.

Ah, well, back to saving the pennies, I suppose...

So it cannot be attached to the 15-22?

I was about to pull the trigger also.
