Best solution for a qd sling mount

I have a magpul sling that needs a qd mount on the rifle somewhere near the back or the receiver or front of the buffer tube. What's the best solution since ours is not a true buffer tube. I remember seeing somewhere here someone drilled and epoxied a mount in the receiver. Seems a little scary but I'm open to it...maybe.

How does the magpul edition of the 15/22 mount? Which one of the clamp on the buffer tube types works best?

MCTAR30 here too; been running it for around 18 months and solid as a rock with my Gear Sector and MS3 QD slings.

Magpul RSA for the front mount with a MS3 QD sling. Works well for me.

Going to do mine in a day or two. Probably best to use a drill press if you have one available.

I have the push button QD swivel for the picatinny rail
And the older QD hunter style for the picatinny rail and the stock.
I am working on the push button style for the stock next.
