Best trigger spring kit for Model 60-7?

I'm looking at picking up a near mint 60-7 and was wonder what spring kits are out there for it. I usually go with Apex, but since this has a hammer mounted firing pin it won't do this time.

Wilson-Combat also has its J-frame spring kit which I've used before.

Just an fyi, Apex' included internal firing pin can be used in other S&W revolvers with an internal firing pin, should you do buy the Apex' kit and not use the firing pin in your older Model 60.

Wolff also has a "reduced power" spring kit that comes with different rebound springs so you can choose the one that suits your gun best.

Get the full power factory replacement springs. S&W engineers chose them carefully. They knew what they were doing.

The "light weight replacement springs" thing is a recent fad; one that will eventually come to an end when folks realize it is a mistake to be fiddling around with the spring weights.

Thanks for all of the options out there. It seems like the Wilson Combat and Wolff springs are identical, so I'm not sure why one would choose one over the other.

I'll also consider just keeping it in it's factory setting as well even though I've never had a problem with any J-Frame and an Apex kit.

Hi Nakanokalronin.

I put the Apex Duty/Carry Spring Kit in my M60 without any problem with the hammer.

The gun now has a nice smooth 8lb. DA trigger pull. SA is between 2-3 lbs.
