Best way to carry a 4 inch K frame?

A hanky wadded up in the bottom of the pocket can do a great job breaking up the shape of a pocket holster and making it look even more nondescript.

I'm sure that some of us do get "made" occasionally, or at least raise someone's suspicion. It's just that the kind of people that do notice such things generally aren't the kind that will be alarmed because they carry also. I was in a local hospital rehab facility the other day and made a guy carrying a very large auto IWB on the left side. I'm thinking he had a mouse gun in the front pocket of his hoody. He didn't have a clue that I had his number. Everyone else in the room was oblivious.

I'm going to go along with Wyatt Earp on this, I'm just not comfortable with pocket carry. It has nothing to do with being made, but more with my fear that the pockets will fail. I carry a Model 60, I know that a lighter pistol would alleviate this, but haven't found a good deal on one yet.
I'm still looking for a good OWB for my 4" model 15-3, and until I find it, I'll stick to belt carry with my M60.

A Sparks Summer Special 2 for IWB, a Mernickle PS6DA for OWB. Belts from the same people. Speedloaders in cargo pockets, or deep coat pockets, or old Split Sixes. Very comfortable.

The 642 is THE classic pocketgun. I'm using a DeSantis for now. The all steel 640-1 rides in a Renegade ankle holster.

My birthday was last Wednesday so I ordered myself a El Paso Saddlery #88 Street Combat holster for my 4 inch Model 13 in russet with fish scale stamping....

Don emailed and said I should have it in six weeks.

I sure do hope to avoid any street combat until then....

Just received a Hoffner's IWB for an L-Frame 4" and tried it on. Works well though my experience so far is limited. The gun sits way up under your arm so is hidden pretty well and the draw requires only a minor upward pull before presenting forward. It keeps only the barrel below the beltline, everything else is above. I have a 3" and 4" and find that the 4" stabilizes a bit better, though both work.

I prefer my revolvers in a shoulder-rig. Older set-up that fits like a glove w/547 9mm.
