Great to see the grips. All the various quality "classic" aftermarket grips that are featured here are getting to me.

Those are great Lee, nice find. How do they feel in the hand, should show them to a grip maker and the cowboys would go wild over them. Now if you can find some for the Schofield.

Those are fabulous, though, and I mean fabulous.

What I like about these grips (besides the rariy) is the CONDITION. Have you ever noticed that just about all the Roper's you see are in above average condition? You just don't see ragged-out worn-down Ropers. Probably lots of reasons for that but I suspect that since they usually go on neat target guns by target shooters they are just better cared for and used. Awesome grips guys.

I'm impressed with the condition of both pair. Lee's are a bit chrisper than Kevin's. Though they are more fancy.
I some times wonder if the same carver did all Roper stocks. The degree of skill is apparently different from set to set.

For some reason it puts me in mind of that 4" 38/44 HD with an SA grip frame that one of us bought off GA a few years ago. That was a very cool looking gun...

I think some things don't really need a point to 'em. They're just intrinsically cool.
