Have you noticed Levi's pretty much suck for pocket carry? 7.5" deep pockets. Not great for OWB cary either because of only 5 belt loops...

Now when I shop for jeans, I look for deeper pockets & 7 belt loops...

I have 2 styles of Carhartt jeans that have 8.5" deep pockets & a few pair of Eddie Bauer that have 9" deep pockets (both that have 7 belt loops)...I'm just sayin'...

In my opinion, no gun owner should ever wear Levis. They give tons of money to anti-gun groups and others that I consider very un-American. There are a couple of brands of jeans that are specifically tailored for ccw. Personally, I prefer Wranglers.

Another vote for Wrangles relaxed fit.

I carry a 442 or a 640-1 in a Mika holster much of the time.

Just a regular old pair of Wrangler relaxed fit's here too. Nat Nast makes a pretty relaxed fit pair of jeans with reasonable sized pockets (kel-tec's all but dissappear and a ruger LCR is barely noticeable) if you're into designer labels

Max, you're a real American. I totally agree. The nimrods at Levi's lost my dollars almost twenty years ago. They can kiss the whitest part of me. I hope they go out of Business. Myself, I usually wear Lee carperter's jeans.

When I shop for jeans, I try my carry guns on with the pants. With Lee carpenter's jeans every pair are a little different, but about half of them are excellent for CCW.

I have been wearing Levis for as long as I can remember, but, after all of the favorable recommendations in this thread, I am going to check out the Wranglers.

Riders Jean Company are loose fitting and the only I've found with a wide deep front pocket. They are made by Lee. Fits a snubnose pocket holster fine. The only place I've found them (locally) are The Anderson's General Store.

Tractor Supply sells C.E. Schmidt jeans for less than $20 per pair including tax. They are very comfortable, durable, look good, and have generous front pockets. I bought my last pair of Levi's several years ago.

I have been buying jeans from Duluth Trading Co., on the internet.
They have very deep and sturdy pockets. I can easily carry a 3" J-frm in a front pocket holster comfortably.

I never pocket carry but I find Wranglers the best holster jeans out there...the side loop is in the perfect spot to run under the holster for 3-4 o'clock carry...and only around 14 bucks at Target...I've tried relaxed fit but the waistband is less supportive for me....

I'll second that. They also have the best pockets for a j frame, but I really don't understand how some guys can carry a Model 19 snub that way. Occasionally, I read about someone pocket carrying one, but I've realized that a j frame is my pocket size limit. I don't think I could carry an SP101 Ruger in a pocket either. Like me, just too chunky.

+1

I have a pair of 34's and 36's and they both fit the same. The tags say there were made in different country's, but I thought 1" was 1". Wrangler carpenters work as good as the Lee's. As a matter of fact, they look identical like they could have been made at the same place and time but got different tags.

Where do you guys buy your Wrangler jeans? I usually shop at Kohls, but apparently Kohls doesn't carry the Wrangler brand.
