I wish they would make it so the trigger pull on the K,L, and N frame revolvers is easier. Maybe lighter all the way or get lighter as you pull it back, similar to a compound bow. Ideally, it would be as light as a single action pull at the back, just before the hammer falls. You would think with all their millions of dollars and high end engineers someone would be able to figure that out.
My Dad always said "If you're going to make a wish, wish big in case it comes true".

I like light DA trigger pulls but like reliability and consistency more. To make a trigger pull lighter you either have to make it longer or reduce the spring weight and risk light primer strikes. The trigger pull on my M69 seems heavier than necessary but is smooth and I have never had a misfire.

I am not sure how well a trigger pull that changed like a compound bow would work for me, it is something I would have to try. I never stage a DA trigger. My revolvers are all DA/SA so pulling the hammer back and firing SA has always seemed a better choice than trying to stage a DA trigger. When firing DA it seems like a changing pull weight would make it harder to hold the gun on target.

Some good things to think about. I never stage my DA either, just a smooth pull right on through. I end up making a worse shot if I try to stage. I think a smooth pull that is light at the end might work. Maybe someday we'll find out.
