I absolutely love my BG 2.0. It has ran like a top, has been accurate, and is a soft shooter.
The RSA can be a bear to put back in and the sights were clearly off center. I drifted the rear sight and the RSA “issue” I have solved with a slight amount of brute force. Not ideal but I can live with that.
The problem it’s going back for has no good workaround. Like others, I noted the manual safety was very tough to engage/disengage. I manipulated it literally hundreds of times. Practice draws, dry fire, live fire, and such. It smoothed out very nicely and I was very happy with the results. Except it kept getting smoother and lighter. It now basically has 3 positions. Engaged, disengaged, and with less than a millimeter of movement and prior to getting beyond the spring engagement (the spring is an audible and tactile position as you snick the safety off and on) it will release the trigger. I can firmly tap the gun of the gun into my palm and the safety will move to this “intermediate” position and the safety is OFF, although it still appears engaged.
No bueno. Off it goes.
