Hi folks! I need help. I went to the range last week to test out my new Bodyguard 380 ACP. The first 6 rounds went off with no problem. Reloaded the magazine and pulled back on the slide to load a round, same type ammo, the round loaded and then the slide stuck. I can't move the slide at all and can't clear the round. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

First I have heard this and I would bet you will get a couple expert ideas coming soon. Let us know what happened when you discover the issue. I have not encountered any issues with my BG 380.

I'm reluctant to tell you do anything with a loaded handgun.
Gotta ask though, did you try firing it? If you had an entity chamber/spent case, there are options to trouble shoot.

In any case, call smith the gun is fully warrantied.

Sounds like the laser retaining screw has back out, I haven't a clue how to get the pistol unloaded & disassembled to check it though.

Hi Folks! Went to the gunsmith yesterday afternoon to have it looked at. It seems the ammo was bad. The round that was partially loaded was not seated properly. The ammo was Tul-Ammo. We compared the round to a new box and it was sitting higher than the rounds in the new box. Either the round was not seated properly or they put a 9mm bullet in the cartridge. Got home and compared the round to the rest of the box I had at home....yep all seated the same. Thanks for the help!

Not a bad idea though to keep an eye on the laser retaining screw each time you clean it..just saying..;)
