BG380 Trigger work

Anyone doing anything for these 102lb triggers yet??

Love the gun, hoping that when/if S&W can get mine running right I'll be able to tackle the next issue which is the horrible(IMO) trigger..

any help would be great.

Try double staging your trigger and that will help. Lots of dry fire practice will help build up your trigger finger. With such a long and hard trigger pull you don't need your safety. This isn't a target pistol or a race gun.

I plan(ned) on it being my wifes carry gun. She has some trigger time with my M&P's and is having quite a bit of trouble with the trigger on the BG. Besides the failures to fire.

It fits her hands well and she likes it but I may be forced to get her something else.

If you're getting failures to fire then you need to switch ammo and try some other varieties. If that doesn't solve the problem then it should go back to the factory. FTF isn't due to the trigger pull.
