Any die hard pepper fans here? I ordered 4 bhut jolokia pepper plants (Naga Jolokia pepper - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) earlier this summer and the first ones finally turned red this week. I was removing the seeds for next year and decided just to lick the juice off the knife...hmmm, not too bad, then it hit. 

After 15 minutes of sucking on what felt like brimstone the roof of my mouth went numb, the heat lasted for a good half hour before subsiding. Eventually the tears dried up and sweat evaporated (at least my nasal passages are clear!) - what an endorphin rush!
I've now been eating the fleshy parts in small slivers, it's got a pungent taste similar to habaneros, but with a bigger attitude!
