I would like to see if RED Nichols can provide any information on this variation of the Bianchi #8 holster. I've encountered many #8 Bianchi holsters but most have an exposed trigger guard. This one with the covered trigger guard fits my Model 69 perfectly.

After my time, Lee :-). And made about 1990, because first the company changed to brown thread then moved leather production to Mexico during the '90s. In MY time the trigger was expected to be exposed on a DA revolver, so I think of the covering of them as 'wokeism' because the revolver is not safer; it just 'looks right' when the trigger is covered. Bianchi brought in Strong's "designer" after I left and this is similar to Strong's, which company got ownership of both Baker's old company and Bucheimer's, too, circa that year (1990).
