I see a picture of one in the Old Steel and Leather post. Anyone have any background info, size codes, types of pistols or revolvers it was designed to hold? Thanks, Mark

In my old Bianchi catalog the model 13 was for semi autos only and shows a S&W 39 in the picture. Later, I got one for K frame Revolvers and it is marked BIANCHI #13 tm "SCORPION" patent pending 38/357. It will take S&W K Frame revolvers from 2" barrels and longer I have worn the shoulder rig with 4".revolvers.

The Bianchi model 13 was sold in parts. Pick your holster #13 in revolver size or auto size. Pick the harness that fit you #13A Small, medium or large. for the opposite side you could pick the #13B ammo pouch with belt attachment strap or #13C clip holder that held 2 magazines 9mm, 45, or .380. and strap to attach to your belt. I only bought 1 harness but 2 holsters Revolver 38/357 for K frame and Auto holster for S&W 9mm. Plus the 13B and 13C. Unfortunately I sold the Semi Auto rig with my only harness so I have the revolver holster and 13B left over. Yes, I did a few times wear it as a double gun rig just because I could.

My 1979 Bianchi Catalog lists Revolvers S&W Chief 38, Model 19 .357, Colt Det. 38, Ruger Security 6 357, and Charter .38 and 44. Semi Autos as Colt .45 Gov't, 45 Gold Cup, Commander. S&W m39, M59 9mm, Detonics .45, Walther PP, PPK/S 380, and H & K P9S.
